Emergency plumber

Emergency Advice before they get there!

Leaks are never planned and can cause a panic. First find your stopcock and turn it off. If you have tanks in the roof space there should be valves on them close them if you can.

Place basin, bucket and old towel to try and contain the water until the plumber arrives.

If the leak is coming through light fixtures of electrical fixtures, isolate at the fuse board, wet wall switches can deliver a shock!
